Bicycles had made it much easier to loiter around the campus. Now, that the bicycles have been taken back, we have started using our vehicles again,” said second year student, Mahima Shrivas.Apart from saving fuel, the usage of bicycles also helped the students to stay fit and this motivated them to use it religiously, she added.Out of the 245 bicycles allotted to the faculty members and students, around 10-15 had been damaged and two had gone missing. The bicycles were parked at different spots across the campus including the front gate, near hostels, faculty quarters and various departmental blocks.
