Indore: A 33-year-old businessman was killed after a minor driving a BMW car hit his two-wheeler on Yeshwant Niwas road on Wednesday afternoon.Anand Jain, a resident of Vaibhav Nagar, was on his way towards Zanjeerwala square from Lantern square when the accident took place near Abhay Prashal.The minor tried to flee the spot after the incident, but, was caught by people present there and handed over to Tukoganj police. Since it was a high-profile case, several influential people reached police station and also approached senior officers after the minor was detained, sources said.“We have booked the minor under IPC sections. He told us that he was 17-year-old, but we are yet to ascertain his age,” Tukoganj police station in charge Tehzeeb Qazi said. Some eyewitness told TOI that both the victim and youth were speeding their vehicles.
