INDORE: Two groups pelted stones and destroyed public property in Alirajpur district prompting the district collector to impose prohibitory orders under Section 144 in Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar in early hours of Tuesday.The incident took place late on Monday night when members of two groups picked up a quarrel and it escalated, district collector Ganesh Shankar Mishra told TOI.The crowd became violent and pelted stones at a police team that reached the spot to gain control, he said adding "Situation is under control.
