INDORE: A woman reached public hearing on Tuesday with a video of her husband thrashing her in an inebriated condition and sought penal action against him.Anuradha Tripathi, a resident of Suryadev Nagar under Aerodrome police station told police that she was being harassed by her husband for the past few months. Even after repeated complaints to police, no action was taken.SP Yusuf Qureshi told TOI that a probe has been ordered in the matter. Even after registering a complaint at Aerodrome police station, no action was initiated against the accused.She had brought a video along with her to make the officials believe her story. He beat her up daily after getting drunk. "No one had registered any case in the matter.

So I hid my mobile phone in the room and the entire act got recorded," said the woman.In another case, police received a complaint from a retired scientist UR Dubey who said that he was facing problems for the past few months because of the loud music being played in a hotel near the residency in which he lived. Even after repeated complaints to police, no action was taken.SP Yusuf Qureshi told TOI that a probe has been ordered in the matter."The respective police stations have been asked to register cases and arrest the accused, take action at the earliest," said Qureshi Malharganj resident Kuldeep Bairagi also reached public hearing and complained that he was duped of thousands of rupees by a consultancy on the promise of getting him a job in a bank.
