Jaipur: Mortal remains of para commando, who attained martyrdom in Jammu and Kashmir, reached here a little late due to bad weather at Jammu and Kashmir at the Jaipur airport on Friday. After wreath laying ceremony, the remains were sent to his native village in Jhalawar. On the other hand, a CRPF jawan hailing from Alwar also attained martyrdom late on Thursday evening. He was killed in a militant attack in Kashmir.Family members of Mukut Bihari Meena at Ladania village in Jhalawar were desperately waiting for the mortal remains which were expected to arrive in Jaipur in the morning. “He had called up his family members a few days ago and had expressed to return to village for Raksha Bandhan. His desire could not be fulfilled,” said a relative while talking to TOI.However, bad weather delayed the reaching of mortal remains of Meena to his village. “Due to bad weather in Jammu the flight bringing the mortal remains got delayed. Thereafter, the mortal remains were taken initially by Army helicopter but were taken back to Jaipur following bad weather. Now, the remains would be sent via road to his village,” said Colonel Sombit Ghosh, public relations officer, defence, Jaipur.Meanwhile, Sandeep Yadav, a CRPF jawan with 96 Battalion, also attained martyrdom.
