Kota: Chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Sunday during Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra in Hadauti region claimed that her government had left no stone unturned to serve the public. She exhorted the public to choose her government again in the upcoming state assembly elections. This, she said, would help her and the government to continue the pace of progress and development in the state.Raje addressed public meetings at Mangrole town of Baran district, Itawa and Deegod of Kota district and attempted to win public support while counting the achievements of her government. She said that the government has made efforts to uplift the living standard in urban and rural areas. They have also constructed Gaurav Path to free the villages of mud covered paths, Raje said while addressing a public meeting at Krishi Upaj Mandi ground in Mangrole town. “At least 175 Gaurav Paths have been constructed in Mangrole,” Raje said and claimed with the works worth Rs 13 crore her government has made Baran and Mangrole flood-free. She added that the government had also provided facilities for drinking and irrigation water round-the-year in Jhalawar and Baran. She claimed that once the Parvan Irrigation Project completes, every village in Jhalawar and Baran districts would get sufficient water.“The development works in Baran and Jhalawar are not over as inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremonies of works worth Rs 40 crores still remain to be executed,” Raje said. “It is your (public) money and not mine, I am only spending your money on you,” Raje said in Mangrole. She also referred to former PWD minister of the area (Pramod Jain Bhaya), who, she alleged, did nothing but pocketed the public money and misguided people.Raje said that in Itawa 47 schools have been upgraded in the area along with setting up of an ITI college. The pace of progress and development should not be derailed, the CM said.Besides Rs 500 crores for free medicine scheme, her government has paid the claims of Rs 2,100 crores for free treatment under Bhamashah health insurance scheme, Raje said.Raje addressed her third public meeting late in the evening in Deegod village of Sangod of Kota district. “We don’t do little tasks but big ones,” Raje claimed in Deegod referring to the Rs 8,000 crore Parvan Irrigation Project that would further be funded up to Rs 37,000 crore. The project would fulfil the water demands of 13 districts of the state. At least 2 lakh electricity connection for Rs 500 would be distributed by December 31 this year and there would be electricity connection in every household by March 31, 2019, Raje claimed.
