Jaipur: More than 24 hours after two shooters gunned down a bank manager in Kardhani area, the investigators said they have zeroed in on suspects involved in plotting the murder.The sources in the city police said that prime conspirators in the killing of Roshan Lal Yadav could his acquaintances, also under the police scanner is a neighbor who had left the locality a few years ago.“We are exploring two possibilities- Yadav, used to give loans on interest, therefore, o may have had inadvertently set him on a collision course with somebody. Second possibility is family reasons,” an official said, adding vital evidence have been collected.“Marital dispute emerged as another high probability during our investigation. His wife had filed a case of marital discord against him at Kardhani police station exactly four months ago,” an official said, adding that they are speaking with Yadav’s daughter and wife about murder.The police ruled out loot as motive for the crime as shooters did steal anything. “Shooters were marksmen. They overtook his car on their scooty, tapped at his window. No sooner had Yadav rolled down car windows than they fired at him in quick succession,” the official told TOI.The two gunmen fired straight into his chest and upper abdomen. “As bullets rained on him, he could not find any space in the car to dodge bullets. Even before Yadav could respond, one bullet hit him near his chest, another bullet followed soon,” the official said.The footage from over a dozen CCTVs installed near a temple and localities in Kardhani were retrieved by the police. “The bullet marks indicate the accused were armed with a high-quality close range pistol, capable of firing multiple shots in quick interval,” the official said.“CCTV recordings show some suspects. Meanwhile, we are also probing marital dispute with his wife as the prime reason behind the murder and speaking to the family members,” an official said.
