Jaipur: Chief minister Vasundhara Raje’s Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra reached out to citizens of Shekhawati region on Sunday. 32“Do you (CM Vasundhara Raje) feel the “gaurav” (honour) over several important rural development schemes coming to a grinding halt due to the functioning of the BJP government? “For the second phase, already Rs 700 crore have been allocated by our government,” said Raje. She assured the people that their issues related to law and order will be resolved very soon.Question No. All districts under Shekhawati region are under dark zone with depleting water sources.She also said that an MoU was signed for drawing water from Yamuna River which had been pending from 24 years.

Here she informed them about the development projects carried out by her government. She mentioned about the efforts of bringing water from Himalayas in Jhunjhunu and Bangad region that changed the lives of people.“Our sustained efforts have yielded results as several parts have started receiving water through the Kumbharam canal on Sunday,” said Raje who also said that in the second phase, over 190 villages and 70 hamlets will get water from the Himalayas. “For the second phase, already Rs 700 crore have been allocated by our government,” said Raje. All districts under Shekhawati region are under dark zone with depleting water sources.She also said that an MoU was signed for drawing water from Yamuna River which had been pending from 24 years. This was cleared by her government. “The water commission has granted us the permission to draw water which will resolve the situation in several places,” said Raje.During her speech, she mentioned the contribution of Jhunjhunu in the defence forces.
