The next hearing of the case is on October 24. JAIPUR: The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) on Thursday informed the Rajasthan High Court that all encroachments on the Central Park have been removed. The division bench of Justice M Rafiq and Goverdhan Bardhar while hearing a PIL by Yogesh Yadav, was told by the JDA that in compliance of its order, all encroachments have been removed and taken physical possession of the land. The Supreme Court earlier cleared the way for removing the encroachment of the Central Park by the erstwhile royal family claiming that though the JDA had acquired some portion of the Rambagh Hotel and adjoining areas they had not taken physical possession of the land. The apex court ruled that, “With respect to the land which were acquired, and awards were passed, no litigation shall be entertained even by this court (Supreme Court).”However, Yogesh Yadav, the petitioner claimed that that the JDA had not taken physical possession of the land but only put notices that this property belongs to JDA.
