He then slit the throat of a minor who was in the house using a kitchen knife which he picked up from the house itself.Ashish's family has claimed that he is mentally unstable. However, the police have not found any previous medical reports to substantiate the family's claims. The hospital also has a deaddiction wing and the police suspect that he might have been brought there on Friday because of his drug addiction.Eyewitnesses had heard him enquire about an exorcist who could drive away evil spirits from him before he entered the house, where the minor, identified as Aditya, lived with his mother and maternal uncle's family. At the time of the incident, he was playing outside the house while his aunt was inside."Aditya's aunt Sarita was washing in the washroom.
