Kota: A youth in his early 20s late on Friday night was stabbed to death over past enmity by a few youths in Naval Park under Nayapura police station area of Kota city. Police have booked five youths for murder under sections of IPC and handed over the body to family members after post-mortem.The victim was identified as Kalu alias Bhuvnesh Valmiki (aged around 22 years), a resident of Bhadana area under Railway Colony police station. Manoj Rana, the circle in charge of Nayapura police station told TOI that on Friday night around 9 pm Valmiki was stabbed by around 4-5 youths in Naval Park. The youth sustained three fatal injuries, two in stomach and one near his heart. He was rushed to Maharao Bhim Singh (MBS) Hospital where he succumbed to injuries during treatment.Police have booked Suraj, Akash and three others for murder under section 302 and others of IPC on the report given by the deceased’s family members, the cop said. He added that two of the accused have been rounded up and interrogation is on.Initial investigation suggests that a past enmity between the deceased and the accused had been simmering for some time and a scuffle had also erupted between them a few days ago, the cop said.
