Jaipur: The BJP on Thursday registered a complaint with EC against former Janata Dal (United) leader Sharad Yadav for allegedly “bodyshaming” CM Vasundhara Raje by saying “she needs rest and that she is becoming fat.”On the other hand, the Congress party lodged a complaint against BJP’s Tonk candidate and minister Yoonus Khan for holding a press conference on Thursday, in an alleged violation of model code of conduct.In a video clip, Yadav could be heard saying during a rally in Alwar on Wednesday, “Vasundhara ko aaram do, bahut thak gayi hain, bahut moti ho gayi hain, pehle patli thi. The state Congress in its complaint said that despite the poll campaign ended at 5 pm on Wednesday, Khan held a press conference on Thursday.Rajasthan Congress filed a complaint with the Election Commission and the chief electoral officer, Jaipur, alleging that the RAC jawans on poll duty at Kota, Baran, Jhalawar and Jodhpur were not given postal ballots.Congress general secretary Sushil Sharma, in the petition said, on one hand the Election Commission is working hard to improve the voting percentage, while on the other hand, the police and security personnel on poll duty were deprived of voting facilities.He also made a complaint to the commission about the BJP candidate at Kekri seat, Rajendra Vinayak giving a newspaper advertisement in the name of Congress candidate Raghu Sharma and trying to mislead the voters.Accoring to the EC, there are three ‘All Divyang’ polling stations (to be managed by differently-abled persons) in the state - Two in Udaipur and one in Nagaur. There are 209 Adarsh polling stations in Rajasthan - 19 in Jaipur. 4,146 villages have been identified as vulnerable.
