Threetier security at counting centres for today

Jaipur: There is going to be a 3-tier security at counting centres at Commerce College and Rajasthan College where counting will begin at 8 am. “For the employees on election duty, the parking would be available on the counting centres. Sanjay Agarwal, commissioner of police also reviewed the security in and around the counting centres in Jaipur.“It is going to be 3-tier security which includes outer areas, middle areas and core areas. Likewise, 25 companies each of para military forces and Rajasthan police would be deployed at the vote counting centres across the state.Adequate number of policemen have already been deployed at the strong rooms and at various areas of the counting centres in Jaipur. At least 1,500 policemen were included from local police and the companies of para military forces would be deployed at outer, middle and internal core areas of the counting centre.

At least 1,500 policemen included from the local police and companies of para military forces would be deployed,” said Nitin Deep Blaggan, additional commissioner of police (Crime) on Monday.Likewise, at least 50 companies including 25 each of para military and local police would be deployed at various counting centres across the state. “Adequate number of police including the armed ones would be deployed in and around the counting centres,” said NRK Reddy, additional director general (ADG), law and order said.The traffic will not move from Gandhi Circle to Saras Flyover and instead be diverted from parallel roads. “For the employees on election duty, the parking would be available on the counting centres. For journalists covering the event it would be at the Jawahar Kala Kendra,” said a senior officer.
