JMC recovers UD tax from 13 defaulters

The last date to submit UD tax was December 31, 2018, but a majority of the people haven’t paid the tax. This year, JMC is claiming that they might take such an action again if the UD tax is not paid on time. Jaipur: Continuing its drive to earn revenue, the Jaipur Municipal Corporation ( JMC ) recovered urban development (UD) tax from thirteen property owners who were defaulters.During the operation, the civic body sealed three properties and recovered UD tax on the spot from 10 property owners. The urban development tax committee member said, “The last date of relaxation has passed and we have requested to extend the date so that we can organise awareness campaigns.
