Jaipur: Two students made Jaipur proud by attaining international rank in the SOF Olympiad. ""This competition also gave me boost for my JEE mains exam as this Olympiad was just before my JEE examination," said Kritin Garg.Besides, Kritin secured 22nd rank in JEE examination.Both the students were rewarded with a gold medal and a cash prize of 50,000.To honour the winners, SOF organized a felicitation function where other international rank holders were awarded. Kritin Garg of Class XII from St Joseph School scored first rank in National Science Olympiad and Ishaan Jain of Class III from St Anselm's Pink City Sr Sec School bagged first position in International Sports Knowledge Olympiad.Both of them made the cut as over 42,800 schools across 25 countries with a total of 45 lakh students appeared in the Olympiad out of which they stood first in their respective categories. "Since my childhood, I was interested in sports and I have a habit of reading various sports magazines which give me a pool of knowledge in sports," said, Ishaan Jain.Whereas, Kritin Garg of St Joseph School who won the National Science Olympiad, said, "It gives you a good feeling when you appear in a competition between lakhs of students and score the first position.
