Jaipur enjoys a break from heat

Jaipur: People heaved a sigh of relief after rains on Tuesday broke a week-long spell of hot and humud weather. Though, it was cloudy in the morning, the weather turned sunny as the day advanced causing the humidity levels to rise. "Whenever there is good weather, I, along with my family tend to visit places like this to enjoy the beauty of nature. There was a chaos when people saw the panther. said Seema Sharma, a resident of Jagatpura.However, according to official sources monsoon has not completely covered the city.

Jaipur: People heaved a sigh of relief after rains on Tuesday broke a week-long spell of hot and humud weather. The city enjoyed a brief spell of rain. People came out of their houses to enjoy this beautiful weather.It seems even animals wanted to welcome rains as some people saw a panther crossing the road near Amrita Devi forest area in the evening. There was a chaos when people saw the panther. However, the panther queietly went to the other side if the road.Since Tuesday morning people thronged areas such as Jal Mahal, Amber, Central Park, Nahargarh and other scenic spots to enjoy this beautiful weather. There has been an increase in footfall at the tourist spots of the city."Our business is improving as many of our customers like eating hot and spicy food during this pleasant weather with the beautiful Jal Mahal in the background," said Rajesh Singh, a food vendor."Whenever there is good weather, I, along with my family tend to visit places like this to enjoy the beauty of nature. We often go for long drives till Amber." said Seema Sharma, a resident of Jagatpura.However, according to official sources monsoon has not completely covered the city. Humidity was high on Tuesday morning. Though, it was cloudy in the morning, the weather turned sunny as the day advanced causing the humidity levels to rise. At some places there was power outage, causing inconvenience to the residents. But it was soon resolved.It is expected that by the end of this month, almost the entire state will be covered by good rains as monsoon is likely to cover the entire east Rajasthan.
