Man falls off roof while talking to wife on phone

Jaipur: A 25-year-old man fell from the roof of his apartment while talking to his wife over phone on early Wednesday morning near Imliwala Phatak.Sanajay Yadav, a resident of Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh, was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. However, cops said they are not certain if it was an accident or suicide. His body has been kept at the mortuary and his parents have been informed about Yadav's death.Balraj, head constable of Jyoti Nagar police informed TOI that at 1. 30 AM on Wednesday morning, Yadav was talking to her wife on the roof his high-rise building. "A few minutes later his body was found on the floor. It is suspected that his leg slipped and he fell from the roof," he said.Police said Yadav worked at a telecommunication company in Chomu House and had been living alone. "He was working with the private company here in Jaipur and but her wife lived in Uttar Pradesh. We had checked through his call details records (CDR). The last phone call was made to his wife's phone at 1 am, and ended at 1.30 am when he had fallen from the building," said the official.The Jaipur police said that they are probing the case and would ask his friends and family members if Yadav was in any kind of depression. "His body has been kept at the mortuary of the hospital. We informed the family on Wednesday morning. He had suffered from severe head damage and could not be saved," Balraj added.Cops said that once Yadav's family arrives in Jaipur, his body would be sent for the post-mortem and it would be handed over to the family.
