RSRTC union to go ahead with strike

"The talks were inconclusive and we have decided to go with our chakka jam," said a leader from Sanyukt Morcha. Jaipur: A day after agreeing to key demands of RSRTC employees union affiliated to the BMS, the state government on Wednesday sat to pacify the other union under the banner 'Sanyukt Morcha' that have given a call of chakka jam on September 19 and 20. He added that state government is committed to safeguard the rights and interests of the employees of RSRTC. However, one person (employees leader) was adamant which made our talks unfruitful," said Yunus Khan, transport minister. Following an agreement, the union announced to call off their chakka jam that was starting from 12 am on Wednesday to 5 pm on Friday.However, Sanyukt Morcha having various unions affiliated to All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) and others have given a call of chakka jam on September 19 and 20.

However, the talks went inconclusive as the employees union was adamant on some of their long-pending demands.On Tuesday, state transport minister Yunus Khan had promised Rajasthan Parivahan Nigam Sanyukt Karamchari Federation, affiliated to BMS that government will release 3 month salary by September 30 and also will ensure that from October 1 onwards. Following an agreement, the union announced to call off their chakka jam that was starting from 12 am on Wednesday to 5 pm on Friday.However, Sanyukt Morcha having various unions affiliated to All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) and others have given a call of chakka jam on September 19 and 20."We agreed to all of their demands except a few things. However, one person (employees leader) was adamant which made our talks unfruitful," said Yunus Khan, transport minister.
