Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU Apr 10: Continuing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities Jammu Pharmaceutical Distributors Association (JPDA) here today handed over a high end sanitizing machine and safest disinfectant liquid to S.S Gill Dy. Commandant CISF Unit at Jammu Airport. The sanitizing machine and the disinfectant liquid will ensure health security of the people working at the airport and also air passengers considering the increasing number of positive cases of COVID 19. On this occasion Association president Rakesh Gupta also the former CCI Jammu president along with Ajay Gupta senior vice president; Brijesh Gupta vice president; Rajan Gupta secretary general and Ravinder Gandaral secretary assured CISF personnel that JPDA will continue their CSR support in future too. The JPDA team explained to the CISF personnel that the sanitizing machine is used for fogging all types of water based disinfectants and breaks the liquid into fine particles of 10 micron which remains suspended in the air for a long time increasing the contact time of the disinfectant with micro-organisms in the air making minimum wetting of the floor. They also explained that the disinfectant liquid was a combination of hydrogen peroxide and silver nitrate and is the safest and most effective human and fabric friendly. Later a demo was also given to the CISF personnel to use the machine for sanitization purpose.
