Man eater leopard captured

Excelsior CorrespondentSrinagar June 15: The Department of Wildlife today captured the man-eater leopard at a nursery in district Budgam after 11 long days. The animal who is believed to be the one who mauled a 4-year old girl to death earlier in Ompora Budgam was caught alive near Deputy Commissioner's office officials said. Officials supervising the operation to track down the leopard since said that they finally have managed to catch the leopard alive. Officials also said that the leopard was caught on the same track which it used to enter the residential house on June 3. The animal has been given tranquillizers and has been taken to the Dachigam National Park.
