Punjab & Jammu and Kashmir agree on power project Chandigarh

JAMMU: The governments of Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir on Friday formally agreed to resume work on the long-stalled Shahpur Kandi power project.The `Ratification of Agreement' was exchanged between Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti and Punjab irrigation and power minister Rana Gurjeet Singh , on behalf of chief minister Amarinder Singh, who is away to the United Kingdom.
