Kerala nun stranded in Afghanistan lands in Tajikistan

New Delhi: The plane carrying Kasargod native Sr Theresa Crasta who worked as a teacher in Afghanistan landed in Tajikistan. The nun arrived at Tajikistan in a US military flight. It is said that she will be transported to India from Tajikistan in a special plane. She worked as a teacher at PBK Italiana Daycare centre for physically and mentally challenged children in Kabul. The centre had 30 children and another nun from Pakistan.

It is said that she will be transported to India from Tajikistan in a special plane. She worked as a teacher at PBK Italiana Daycare centre for physically and mentally challenged children in Kabul. The centre had 30 children and another nun from Pakistan. Sr Theresa chose the job at the Afghanistan institution which was under the control of Pope in 2017 while she was serving as the Superior at Nellyadi convent.
