Migrant worker erecting flex board electrocuted

A migrant worker died and three others were injured when they suffered electric shocks while erecting a flex board at Kusumagiri near Kakkanad on Friday morning. According to the police, the group of four was engaged in erecting a flex board, which suddenly swayed in the rain and wind and came into contact with an electric post. Sreejith, 19, of Perumthuruthy, Thrissur; and Raju Kumar Ram, 20, and Rajan Kumar Ram, 33, presumably siblings, from Majlishpur village in Bihar, remain admitted in the intensive care unit of a private hospital at Kakkanad. According to hospital sources, they have developed cardiac problems as well. Of the other three, Sreejith is out of danger whereas the condition of the other two remains critical.

Sreejith, 19, of Perumthuruthy, Thrissur; and Raju Kumar Ram, 20, and Rajan Kumar Ram, 33, presumably siblings, from Majlishpur village in Bihar, remain admitted in the intensive care unit of a private hospital at Kakkanad. The incident happened around 6.20 a.m. According to the police, the group of four was engaged in erecting a flex board, which suddenly swayed in the rain and wind and came into contact with an electric post. Suresh was declared brought dead by the doctors at the hospital. Of the other three, Sreejith is out of danger whereas the condition of the other two remains critical. According to hospital sources, they have developed cardiac problems as well.
