Kerala floods: GoAir, IndiGo to operate special flights to and from Trivandrum airport

CHENNAI: GoAir and IndiGo will operate special flights to and from Trivandrum airport as Cochin airport is closed due to floods. IndiGo will ensure to provide cancellation and rescheduling waiver to passengers booked to travel from August 16, 2018 to August 26, 2018. Keeping in mind the current weather problem in the state, GoAir is taking great care to ensure the provision of every possible alternative and options to passengers whoare prebooked to and from Cochin, said a press release.IndiGo will also be operating additional flights to and from Kozhikode, Coimbatore and Trivandrum from August 19, 2018, to August 25, 2018. GoAir will operate flights With with effect from August 20 to 26 while IndiGo will operate special flights from August 19 to 25.GoAir will operate flights between Mumbai and Trivandrum.GoAir said in a statement that all passengers booked to and from Cochin will be accommodated on these flights.Impacted passengers to and from Cochin are not being charged additional fees or cancellation charges keeping in mind the current situation.Passengers that have currently booked flights to and from COK are being informed the change through social media network, company website and intimation through email, SMS and its customer service helpline.
