Sabarimala temple row: Can't allow violence, says Devaswom minister Kadakampally Surendran

KOCHI: Devaswom minister Kadakampally Surendran made it clear that the government won’t allow violence in the name of Sabarimala pilgrims. RSS workers attacked women, journalists including women, KSRTC buses. He asked BJP state president P S Sreedharan Pillai not to allow the party workers to turn holy Sannidhanam into a place of violence. RSS centre leadership should intervene for urging their workers to stop the violence. After unleashing all these violence, they try to put the blame on Ayyappa devotees.

KOCHI: Devaswom minister Kadakampally Surendran made it clear that the government won’t allow violence in the name of Sabarimala pilgrims. Speaking to media at Sannidhanam on Wednesday evening, Surendran said that the state government is bound to executive the Apex Court order allowing entry of women in the age group of 10-50 also in Sabarimala.The RSS should backtrack on its move to executes its political agenda in Sabarimala. RSS centre leadership should intervene for urging their workers to stop the violence. RSS workers attacked women, journalists including women, KSRTC buses. After unleashing all these violence, they try to put the blame on Ayyappa devotees. This can’t be allowed, Surendran said. He asked BJP state president P S Sreedharan Pillai not to allow the party workers to turn holy Sannidhanam into a place of violence.
