Former judge of High Court dead

He was appointed a judge of the High Court in January 1989 and served in the post for four years. Nayar, 87, a former judge of the High Court of Kerala, died here on Tuesday. Mr. Nayar is survived by his wife, Chandralekha, son A. K. Jayasankaran Nambiar, a judge of the High Court of Kerala; and daughter Pramila Nambiar. The funeral will be held at Ravipuram crematorium on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Later, he was appointed chairman of the Publicmen Enquiry Commission.
