Marathi play Shivputra Sambhaji Mahanatya was a hit in Kolhapur

A mega play hosted at Rajaram Stadium Balaji Lodge in Ichalkaranji, Kolhapur was a huge hit as spectators came in huge numbers to watch their performance. A play depicting the life of Sambhaji Maharaj , played by Dr Amol Kolhe was performed on April 17 and 18 on both days. Written and directed by Mahendra Vasantrao Mahadik the play was a hit among theatre enthusiasts of the city wherein they were transported to the historic era. The play was an attempt to bring out the fabricated truth of our history and to make the youth aware of it. To celebrate the success, there were fireworks after the show.
