Kolhapur ranks second for third year

The overall state pass percentage this year is 88.41.Kolhapur division came second to Konkan division, which topped the chart with 94.85 pass percentage. Within the division, Kolhapur district is ranked first with 91.50% result, while Satara district was a close second at 91.14%, followed by Sangli at 90.12%. Nashik division scored the lowest pass percentage in the state with 86.13.Despite its good performance, the pass percentage of Kolhapur division has reported a drop of 0.4 as against last year’s score of 91.40. Pune division stood at third place with 89.58 pass percentage. The Kolhapur division retained its second rank among the nine divisions of the state for the third consecutive year with a pass percentage of 91 in the higher secondary certificate (HSC, Std XII) results.The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the results online on Wednesday.
