Bidar-Kolhapur train flagged off

The new weekly express train between Kolhapur and Bidar was flagged off by Member of Parliament (MP) Dhananjay Mahadik on Wednesday.The train (no. "The train will benefit people travelling from Kolhapur, Miraj, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi, Usmanabad, Latur Road Udgir and Bhalki stations. 01416) chugged from Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj station at 11pm and reached Bidar at 10am on June 14. The return train, that will depart from Bidar on June 14, will be inaugurated by MP Bhagwanth Kuba and reach Kolhapur on June 15.According to officials from the Indian Railways , the regular service of the trains will start from June 20.
