Rotaract Club of Kolhapur arranged a special tour for the senior citizens of Matoshri Vruddhashram to prominent Ganpati pandals of Kolhapur. In specially arranged vehicles, these members were taken around the city. "It was a very heart-warming to see our grandparents getting to see the festivities of Ganpati Bappaa,” says Bhagyashree Sarda. Another member Yash Malgave added that they initiated this project since no matter what the age, everyone loves pandal hopping. "The members of our club were present to volunteer and to escort the Vruddhashram members through the busy traffic and rush at mandals. It was worth the efforts just to see these residents of old age home happy, said Shantanu Pai.
