A special film festival for Kolhapur students

“Watch movies which offer some learnings, rather than violent ones that mainly aim to earn good revenue,” said Anil Awachat , renowned litterateur, during the inauguration of a recent film festival dedicated to children in the city. He appealed to these students to watch more meaningful international movies, which have made an impact on world cinema This fourth edition of the festival saw Stuart Little as the opening film, and the other movies screened that day included Big Hero and Rise Of The Guardians . Around 1,600 students from 30 schools attended the event on its first day.
