MANS conducts constitutional solidarity campaign workshop

Kolhapur: Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti (MANS) organised a constitutional solidarity workshop for citizens on Sunday.The workshop is aimed at spreading awareness about Indian constitutional rights among common people.Earlier, MANS had organised state-wide workshops on constitutional solidarity on November 26, which is celebrated as the Constitution Day or Samvidhan Divas.An organising committee member of the workshop, Krisnat Kore said, "We organised the workshop for Kolhapur citizens. We used Bharud, Ovya and indigenous form of folk songs to highlight the significance of Constitution Day. "IT professional Swati Kore, who participated in the event, said, "The workshop helped us understand the Constitution. We hardly try to study or understand the Constitution, which is important in our day-to-day life." We organise group discussions for participants so that they understand the concepts of freedom, liberty and fraternity.
