TOI scribe elected as Working President of journalists forum

Senior journalist Tanaji Powar elected as vice president, Vikas Patil as secretary of the forum. The total members of the forum are around 225.The Times of Indias senior correspondent Abhijeet Patil is elected as the Working President of the forum, while Maharashtra Times photojournalist Amit Gadre is selected as its director. Kolhapur: Lumakant Nalawade, senior journalist on Saturday elected as the president of Kolhapur Press Club, the forum of city based journalists.For the first time all the journalist members of the forum voted directly to the candidates interested to become the president of the forum which is established around 24 years ago. Pandurang Dalvi elected as Assistant Secretary and Yuvraj Patil as Treasurer.The KPC have 21 directors represented by each media outlet present in the city and they vote for various posts such as Working President, Vice-president and Secretary.
