Indian Meteorological Department forecast rain in region for next two days

We have not reported heavy rain in the district so far. "We have issued a warning originally send by the IMD to the taluka-level officers to take necessary precautions. The water level of the Panchaganga river is stable at 17.6 feet and the residents of the lowlying areas need not worry as far as floods are concerned," said M G Bhoi, a disaster management official.
