Avishkar orientation program from Nov 23

Out of the 283 colleges, around 190 colleges host conventional courses like Arts, Commerce and Science. The SUK has 283 affiliated colleges across Sangli, Satara and Kolhapur districts with more than 2.5 lakh students studying in different courses. The final workshop will be held at Kolhapur Institute of Technology's College of Engineering on November 25.The circular has asked the colleges to send the name of their research cell coordinator to their respective host colleges. Kolhapur: The Shivaji University, Kolhapur ( SUK ) will organise a one-day Avishkar Research Festival orientation programme for research cell coordinators in Kolhapur, Sangli and Satara districts from November 23.A circular from the SUK, dated November 7, said that Karad-based Sadguru Gadage Maharaj College will host the first workshop on November 23, while Willingdon College in Sangli will host the workshop for Sangli district on November 24. The festival — an initiative from the chancellor's office to boost research culture among students and faculty members — will begin from next month in the division.According to university officials, promoting research culture among students and faculty members remains a top priority.
