A decision on the extension of prohibitory orders on public programmes would also be taken at the meeting. However, the orders would not affect the UPSC examinations to be held on Sunday, he said. New helplines A help desk will be opened at the Medical College Hospital on Saturday, along with a police outpost. Two new helpline numbers have been introduced for the public to clear their doubts on Nipah infection. The new numbers are 0495-2380087 and 0495-2380085. The Collector said that the district administration did not have the powers to close down the court, though the Calicut Bar Association has demanded to do so. Mr. Jose said that he had reported to the Kerala High Court about the situation in the district and that the decision would be made by the High Court. Meanwhile, Shamsheer Vayalil, Managing Director of Abudhabi based VPS Healthcare, has offered to provide protection kits worth ?1.75 crore for the health service personnel in the district.
