UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath instructed cops to stay vigilant, as Eid ul Adha is coinciding with the holy month of Shravan, so that no unpleasant incidents take place. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya defended the decision of state government, saying that the decision was taken by the government so that the festival is observed in a peaceful manner.
