Back to Lucknow after a long time, comedian Bharti Singh shot for the reality show 'India’s Got Talent’s' upcoming auditions in the city. "Last time I came to Lucknow with Krushna Abhishek to promote a show, but that was a long time back. And this time I am here with Rithvik Dhanjani . Har baar main Lucknow ek naye ladke ke saath ajaati hoon (laughs). And I am very happy that I have come to Lucknow this time with Rithvik as I have a ligament tear in my leg because of the stunts that I did in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi’s' upcoming season. So Rithvik has been quite supportive during the shoots of India’s Got Talent’s Lucknow auditions. He is not only busy improvising his own act, but he even takes care of me," said Bharti, adding, "This time I feel really blessed that I shot at a chikan shop in Lucknow. Otherwise, whenever we have city visits, we hardly get time to shop. So since I was shooting at a chikan shop I got to see what chikan exactly is and how costly it can be. But let me tell you the chikan work is really amazing. Also, Lucknow sunn ke hi mere aur Haarsh (Limbachiyaa) ke mooh mein paani aa jata hai. We both love yahan ke kebabs. And while I get to taste it, he too called me abhi and asked me to get the kebabs ka paste for him. Usko Lucknow ka non-veg bahut pasand hai." Bharti’s rakhi brother too is from Lucknow. "Not many people know but my Rakhi brother, Shobhit Sinha, too is from Lucknow. I called him today to tell him that I am in his city today as he keeps telling me a lot about his city. I fondly call him kachra waala as woh bahut kachra failata hai. Also, since he is a comedy writer, he keeps giving me typical Lucknow waale punches. The best part about Lucknowites is that woh badi se badi gaali bhi bahut tameez se dete hai," she says.Bharti Singh (BCC/ Aditya Yadav)Telling us more about her 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' journey, Bharti shares, "Last time too when I had participated in a dance reality show, something similar happened with me. So I might appear rough and tough from outside but andar se main bahut hi nazuk hoon. Khatron Ke Khiladi has been an amazing journey. Though I can’t reveal till what level I reached, I had a really interesting time on the show. I have really cried a lot on that reality show. Bahut maza aaya. I had taken a small break after my marriage. But now my husband and I are both busy with our projects. It feels good to be back in action."Ask Bharti if life has changed post marriage and she says, "Yes life has changed a lot post marriage – I now wear sindoor and mangalsutra, which I love the most about being married. It’s been more than eight months to my marriage and I am loving this phase of my life, I think everyone should get married. When you have a best friend as your husband, things are supposed to get good for you. Husband-wife mein mann mutav ho sakte hai, magar friends mein aisa nahi hota as they are more forgiving. Harsh is very caring. He has called me several times today to ask me about my leg. Even my in-laws are great. I used to wake up at 1 PM at my home before marriage, and now I wake up at 2 PM. My in-laws are like my close friends. They are very accommodating."So any plans of extending the family? "Yes, Haarsh and I both love kids. In fact, Haarsh toh galiyon mein logon ke bachhe uthata rehta hai (laughs). We have discussed about extending our family. And by 2020, I will be a mother. Maine toh Haarsh ko bola hai that I want to perform on the stage till the last day of my pregnancy. I want my child to get good vibes. I have in fact, asked him to plan and write scripts for me for my pregnancy," she shares.Quite close to comedian and actor Kapil Sharma, Bharti is also in talks with him for his comeback show. "I am very much in touch with Kapil Sharma, I always was! Kehte hai na bura samay hamesha ke liye nahi rehta and raat bhi chali jaati, so ab Kapil Sharma ki bhi subah aa gayi hai. He is working on a lot of things and bahut jaldi he will be back and I am sure I too will be a part of that. When that problem with Kapil had happened, I did call him and he told me that he just wanted to stay alone for sometime and I respected his decision at that time. He told me that he will make a comeback. He is now back and he is also doing gym and yoga and in fact, he called me to his house and told me that we should do something together. Main, Kapil and Krushna are all set to come back together. And I want that there should be a comedy show on every channel as it really helps people a lot in their stressful lives," she says.
