AGRA: The residents of a remote village in UP's Etah district were shocked to see a four-year-old girl’s body in a plastic sack, few meters away from her home, on ThursdayYoungest among the six siblings, the victim had bruises and blood clot at her abdomen area and face.A resident of Piphara village under Nidhauli Kala police jurisdiction, the victim’s body was found nearly 50 meters away from her home.According to police, the victim was living with her two teenaged brothers, as their father committed suicide in April month, while their stepmother was said to be missing for the last one month.Speaking to TOI, Dev Anand, circle officer of Jalesar, said, “Initial probe suggests that the victim was raped and murdered. Therefore, her body has been sent for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of injury at her abdomen.”Officer Anand said, “After dinner at her uncle’s house, the victim went to her home at 9pm and slept on a cot beside her two teenaged brothers. During questioning, one of the brothers (7) said, at around 5am, he woke and found his sister missing. He went out for her search and saw her body and alerted his relatives.”The three kids were being taken care of by their uncle’s family. The victim’s two elder brothers and a sister live separately with their spouse.Jaiveer, the Piphara village pradhan pati, said, “It’s a shocking incident. The children were already in trauma after father’s death and missing stepmother. Police must solve the case and district administration should compensate the family.”By the time this report was filed, police were yet to lodge an FIR in the matter.
