The volunteers have been asked not to raise any slogans on the Babri Masijd issue either. "Sometimes there are posters and banners which use the Babri Masjid on them. Any other controversial slogans will also not be raised so that no community or religious sentiments are hurt," said Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali. Over 140 anjumans from across the state will participate in the procession, which will cross Maulviganj, Nadan Mahal Road, Haiderganj to reach the Aishbagh Eidgah. We have given directions that under current circumstances, such posters should be kept away.

Lucknow: Against the backdrop of Ram Temple clamour and posters coming up saying ' Ayodhya Chalo ', Sunni clerics in the city have advised that no banners, posters or slogans regarding Babri Masjid to be raised in the Juloos-e-Madh-e-Sahaba , to be taken out in Old City on Wednesday. With clear directions to the volunteers to maintain cleanliness and not to raise slogans that would hurt a community, care is being taken to not have any material related to the Babri Masjid at the procession, lest tension brews in the city. The procession which is taken out to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad, has been following a 20-year-old tradition after an agreement was signed between Sunnis, Shias and the district administration in 1998-1999.It will start 9:30am onwards from Aminabad's Jhande Wala Park. Over 140 anjumans from across the state will participate in the procession, which will cross Maulviganj, Nadan Mahal Road, Haiderganj to reach the Aishbagh Eidgah."Sometimes there are posters and banners which use the Babri Masjid on them.
