BAREILLY: Two men, Jitendra Singh and Aram Singh, were arrested on Monday for allegedly abducting one Vishambar Singh and burying his body after strangling him on December 17. A third person, Vijendra, is on the run.According to the police Jitendra was angry as Vishambar was having an affair with his wife and therefore plotted to eliminate him along with his uncle, Aram Singh. Both accused and victim are from same village of Rahgaon under Aonla police station here.Superintendent of police (crime) RK Bhartiya said two days after Vishambar had gone missing, his father Shyam Singh had lodged an FIR on December 19 in which they added section 363 (kidnapping) of IPC after investigation.“During probe, we learnt that the victim was last seen with Jitendra, his cousin Vijendra and Aram Singh. From our sources we came to know that Jitendra’s was upset about Vishambar’s relationship with his wife and had warned him to keep away. When he found no change in his attitude, he decided to eliminate him and hatched a conspiracy along with two accomplices,” SP said.According to police, they had thrown deceased’s shirt somewhere else to mislead police.“We have exhumed Vishambar’s body and sent it for autopsy. Duo has been sent to jail while a hunt is on to nab Vijendra,” SP added.
