  • | Monday | 8th April, 2024

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Sunday, said that the Congress party was the biggest problem of the country and imposing curfew was part of its DNA. He said. Let alone building the Ram temple, Congress people even considered Lord Ram and Lord Krishna as imaginary figures, he remarked. The Bharatiya Janata Partys star campaigner made these remarks during a massive public meeting held at Ashok Sharma Senior Secondary School grounds in Lalsot, Rajasthan during his whirlwind election tour to the state. He appealed to the people to vote for Kanhaiya Lal Meena, the candidate from Dausa Lok Sabha seat. Attacking the Congress, Yogi Adityanath said, During Congress rule, only the work of robbing the poor of their rights has been done. Chief Minister Yogi expressed gratitude to the people of Dausa, stating that during the Rajasthan assembly elections, he campaigned in Dausa and as a result, the public blessed the party candidates, leading to the resounding victories of the BJP on five out of eight assembly constituencies here. The UP chief minister mentioned that for the first time people across the country were assured of the results of the 18th Lok Sabha elections, adding that people had accepted that the National Democratic Alliance government would be formed under Prime Minister Narendra Modis leadership. Across the nation, there is a unanimous chant, Fir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar, he stated. The discourse surrounding the Modi government isnt abrupt; it is the culmination of achievements within Indian society that Modi ji has realised over a decade. In acknowledgment of this, the citizens of our nation are resolute in granting power to Modi for the third time, Yogi Adityanath added. Highlighting the achievements during Prime Minister Modis tenure, the UP chief minister said that in the last 10 years, the respect for Indians had increased worldwide. The countrys borders have been secured. Previously, there were terrorist activities in the country. Three days ago, news came out in a British newspaper that 20 terrorists were killed in Pakistan. This is a new India where the name of Lord Ram is becoming the truth for terrorists, he remarked. He emphasised that worldwide, there is a belief that Indias actions are in the interest of humanity. Presently, no nation dares to endorse terrorism, understanding that such support would result in facing repercussions like airstrikes. Over the past decade, the country has successfully quelled Naxalism, terrorism, and stone-pelting in Kashmir. Consequently, Kashmir is now progressing in tandem with developmental initiatives and democratic principles. The region witnesses a substantial influx of tourists, with people safely participating in events such as the Amarnath Yatra and the pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi, he stated. Today, major initiatives like IITs, IIMs, AIIMS, and medical colleges are happening in the country. Under schemes like Har Ghar Nal Yojana and PM Agriculture Irrigation Scheme, the commitment to provide water to every field and household in India is being fulfilled, Yogi added. He pointed out that there was a time when people of the Congress party denied rights to the poor. However, in the Modi government, 80 crore poor people are benefiting from free ration, 60 crore poor people are getting coverage of a health insurance of Rs 5 lakh while housing has been provided for four crore poor people and the Kisan Samman Nidhi for 12 crore farmers. Millions of women are benefitting from the Ujjwala scheme also, he asserted. He remarked that in India, every occurrence is intertwined with Ram, and every narrative encompasses Krishna. Meera Bai from Rajasthan devoted her entire life to Shri Krishna. It is a testament that no Indian lives their life without the influence of Ram and Krishna. Chief Minister Yogi further said that todays India ensures livelihood for the youth of the country, and respect for the faith of every Indian. He added that people of the Congress used to question the very existence of Lord Ram and Krishna, stressing that they would never have allowed construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Continuing his attack on the Congress, the UP chief minister said that the party did not want a solution to the temple issue because it was itself a problem. Congress is the problem of the country; it keeps giving problems to the country while Modi provides solutions. The construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya is complete, he asserted. The UP chief minister also invited the people of Dausa to visit Ayodhya, emphasising that the city has turned into a heaven on earth in the last 10 years. He said that this election was not just an ordinary election as it was also an opportunity to realise the vision of a developed India. Emphasising Prime Minister Modis charismatic leadership, Yogi said: The prime minister works for the welfare of all 140 crore Indians. During the time of COVID-19, he made the worlds best vaccine available for free to every Indian through his scientists. Had Congress been in power during the pandemic, not to talk of free vaccines and rations, there would have been exploitation of the poor. Congress had turned Jammu and Kashmir into a stronghold of terrorism. He said that Prime Minister Modi eradicated terrorism from Kashmir by abolishing Article 370. Along with this, for the first time, people of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes have been given the benefit of reservation in Jammu and Kashmir, he added. On this occasion, Bharatiya Janata Party leaders including Kanhaiya Lal Meena, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Jaskaur Meena, Ramvilas Meena, Rajendra Meena, Sanjay Bhatia, Prabhudayal Sharma were present.
