Two Maoists with Rs 4L bounty surrender in Sukma

nTwo Maoists, carrying a collective bounty of Rs 4 lakhs on their heads, surrendered to security forces on Saturday in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. Nuppo Somda (26) and Nuppo Sukka alias Ganga (22) turned themselves in, citing disappointment with the Maoist ideology, Sukma Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavan said. Somda was a member of the Gangaloor Local Organisation Squad under the West Bastar Division of the outlawed Maoist organization. Ganga functioned under the South Bastar Division. The two carried a reward of Rs 2 lakhs each on their heads.
