Yogi spends time with children

Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath spent time with young children in the Gorakhnath temple complex on Monday morning before departing for Lucknow. Both the chief minister and the children enjoyed each others company immensely. Chief Minister Yogi conversed warmly with the children for quite a while, offered them chocolates and showered blessings. Yogi also performed the annaprashan ceremony for one child by feeding him kheer. Chief Minister Yogi has been continuously staying at the Gorakhnath temple since May 31. On Monday afternoon, he departed for Lucknow. Before this, his morning routine was as usual. First, he offered prayers and worshipped Guru Gorakhnath then sought blessings by visiting the statue of Mahant Avaidyanath. While touring the temple complex, the chief minister visited the gaushala and fed bread and jaggery to the cows. While touring the temple complex, he noticed children who had come with their families. The chief minister engaged warmly with the children, patted each child on the head, enquired about their studies and blessed them. He also gave chocolates to the children as usual. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also performed the annaprashan ceremony for Raghav, also known as Samrat, the five-and-a-half-month-old son of Maniharsh and Kanchan, a couple who are teachers at Kendriya Vidyalaya and residents of Bichhia Jungle Tulsiram. He fed the child kheer (pudding), showered blessings, and also gifted him chocolates and toys.
