Five-year-old girl electrocuted in Seawood

Sayani Bhosale, a five-year-old girl from Darave village in Seawood, was electrocuted at Sector 40 after she accidentally touched a distribution box. The NRI police saidSayani had gone behind the box to relieve herself and accidentally touched it. MSEDCL said the box belonged to NMMC. MSEDCL and NMMC found that the box had live current. “If negligence is found, a case will be registered against the respective people,” a police official said.
