Samiksha Agarwal from Ulhasnagar, is the Mumbai topper in the Chartered Accountant (CA) exam and the third rank holder in India. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Friday declared CA as well as Common Proficiency Test (CPT) results. In the old course CA exam, which was held in May 2018, 9104 candidates had qualified. Atul Agarwal, a resident of Jaipur and the All India topper, scored 615/800 with a percentage of 77.25. The second rank is secured by Aagam Dalal from Ahmedabad with a score 615/800 and pass percentage 76.88. The third rank holder is Anurag Bagaria from Surat with a score of 597/800 and pass percentage 74.63. Whereas from new course, whose exam was also held in May this year, 139 candidates qualified as CAs. The first All India rank for the revised scheme of the CA final exam was secured by Prit Pritesh Shah from Surat with 542/800 score and a passing percentage of 67.75. The second rank is secured by Abhishek Nagaraj with a score 539/800 and pass percentage of 67.38. The third rank in all India is Samiksha Agarwal with a score 524/800, with pass percentage 65.50. Samiksha is also the Mumbai topper. Samiksha Agarwal, who completed her B.Com from HR College, said, “I give the credit to my mother and all my teachers. Without them, it would have been impossible.”
