Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh on Monday said no politician's name came up during the probe into actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
There is no evidence against any politician from any party, Singh said amid ongoing tussle over jurisdiction between Mumbai Police and Bihar Police.
An IPS officer from Bihar who reached Mumbai to lead the probe has been asked by the BMC to stay under home-quarantine due to COVID-19 threat.
Singh further said, "The statements of Sushant`s father KK Singh, sister and brother-in-law's statement were recorded on June 16.
On being asked about the case development, Commissioner Singh told, "It has come to surface that he had bipolar disorder, he was undergoing treatment and taking medicines for it.
