Maharashtra Bakery caught selling Cannabis Brownie: NCB Raids

NCB raids the bakery in Malad and seizes Cannabis brownie. 

A bakery in Mumbai`s Malad was found selling Cannabis Brownie. The NCB seized  830 grams of cannabis-based food products and 35 grams of marijuana. 

"This was for the first time that a Cannabis-based food is seized by Narcotics", Said NCB Zonal Director. Around 10 cannabis-based brownie cakes were seized. The Information was gained by the NCB zonal unit. 

A woman and Jagat Chaurasia were identified as the supplier,  Chaurasia was arrested in Bandra on the same night and found to be in possession of 125 grams of marijuana.

Cannabis edibles, mostly known as Ganja, can affect people for a longer period of time than smoked cannabis. The important base to all food edibles is that it has fat that has been infused. In other words, any food that contains butter, oil, milk, or any fatty substance can be turned into an edible.
