BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) will produce Bedi Ram Bharti another alleged MPPSC-2013 exam paper leak mastermind before a local court in Bhopal for his police remand on Friday. They got his custody from their Uttar Pradesh counterparts on Wednesday. His role is suspected in several MPPSC`s paper leak cases over a period of six years.

The alleged kingpin of a countrywide gang, which leaked government exam papers, was arrested on Wednesday morning from Aashiana by UP special task force (STF). The name of the kingpin had surfaced after the arrest of two dummy aspirants who were taking RRB third-phase examination for the posts of loco pilot and technician on July 13. Ram has been arrested four times for similar offences and has even been in Tihar jail after the CBI arrested him in 2012.

Out on bail, he had been facing trial since. He is a key accused in leaking ayurvedic medical officer`s exam paper and Public Service Commission exam paper in Madhya Pradesh. MP Special Task Force was looking for Ram since then and a non-bailable warrant was pending against him.

"Ram is adept at exploiting loopholes. He has strong connections in railways and seems to have knowledge of printing houses, which are awarded tenders to publish exam papers," UP STF officer Triveni Singh told our Lucknow bureau. Ram`s infamous leak cases include that of the Chhattisgarh pre-medical test in 2011, Delhi pre-medical test-probed by CBI, Ajmer RRB exam in 2009 and Allahabad RRB tests in 2008 and 2006.

Meanwhile, MPHC rejected bail applications of four accused arrested in the MPPSC leak for their involvement in ayurveda medical officer exam..
