Akrar Khan, a 32-year-old mechanic from Nallasopara, who went missing under mysterious circumstances in Oman in December 2016, is serving time in a prison there after he was caught chewing tobacco by the local police, his family members back home have been informed. Khan will be released from prison on March 23, and will then be deported to India. adding that, "He has definitely not joined nor is part of any terror outfit, which was the suspicion after he went missing.
